In partnership with the director of development, George oversees all fundraising and alumni programming for Middlesex School, including all aspects of the recently completed Mx2: The Campaign for Middlesex, which successfully raised more than $225 million for new construction, building renovations, and endowment. Since joining the faculty in 2005, George has traveled extensively for the School, both domestically and internationally, raising funds for capital and annual fund initiatives. He also serves as an advisor to students and serves on the Middlesex Administrative Team.

A veteran school educator and administrator, George has assumed a variety of leadership roles throughout his 27-year career in education. Prior to joining the Middlesex faculty, he served as director of international & auxiliary programming and the director of athletics at the Fay School. Previously, George served as a head teacher, coach, and admissions associate at the Fessenden School and founded various Boston inner city youth programs as a director at Hill House.

George began his career as a teacher and counselor at the Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston. A graduate of Pomfret School, he earned a B.A. in psychology at Rollins College, an M.Ed. at Lesley University, and an Ed.M. in policy planning and administration at Boston University. He is also a Middlesex parent, as his son Ryan ’23 and daughter Milly ’25 both attend the School.
