Briana Mastel

After wrapping up two years of playing defense for the Boston Pride in the National Women’s Hockey League, Briana joined the Middlesex Admissions Office in 2021. While playing hockey professionally, she also served as an assistant coach for the East Coast Wizards Hockey Club. Briana earned an A.B. in psychology with a minor in Spanish at Harvard University, where she captained the women’s ice hockey team and was a four-time ECAC All-Academic honoree. A graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, she was a tri-varsity athlete all four years there and served as captain of the varsity soccer, ice hockey, and lacrosse teams in her senior year; she was also presented with the School Seal Prize, the highest honor given in recognition of outstanding contribution to the school. In addition to her admissions work, Briana is the head coach of girls’ varsity hockey.
