Aura Rizzo

A 2007 graduate of Middlesex, Aura returned to her alma mater in 2019 as a seasoned teacher of classics. On the faculty for six years at Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, she taught every level of middle school and upper school classics, including a College Board-approved AP Latin curriculum and an upper-school Greek curriculum that she designed. In addition, Aura chaired the language department, served as an advisor for students and the Latin Club, and coached varsity field hockey and lacrosse. She received her M.A. with honors from the University of Edinburgh. While earning her M.A. in classics at Boston College, Aura was also an assistant coach for the Charles River Blazers Ice Hockey Club, working with a U-12 team.
