Middlesex Theatre Presents “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

On November 11th and 12th the Middlesex theatre department presented A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare. Regarded as one of Shakespeare’s most timeless and humorous comedies, the play depicts the overlapping misadventures of four young lovers as they encounter everything from love potions to woodland fairies. Middlesex’s rendition was set in the 1960’s, seamlessly superimposing the era’s psychedelic atmosphere onto the whimsical and dreamlike events of the play. The show, featuring a cast and crew of over 50 students from all grades, left the audiences dazzled!
