Middlesex Presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

by William Shakespeare
Friday November 11 7:30 PM
Saturday November 12 8:00 PM

This comedy is Shakespeare’s most produced play for a simple reason: it’s really, really funny. Midsummer is about teenagers falling hard for each other, and while Mr. Hirsch and KP will hopefully be guffawing at some of the subtler twists of words, the student body will immediately get this comedy at a gut level. Originally set in ancient Greece, we’ve re-staged this play in the late 1960’s as a playful amplifier for a story that can get pretty psychedelic in its exploration of love.

While admission is free and tickets are not necessary, reserved patron seating may be purchased for $25 each.  All proceeds from patron seating support financial aid for the theatre department’s bi-annual trip to London.

If you would like to reserve patron seating, please email Ryan DuBray: [email protected] and tickets will be billed to your school account.  Please specify the performance you will be attending and the number of tickets that you require.
