Middlesex Alumni Gather for Annual Kingman Cup

A spirited group of over 80 alumni, parents, faculty, and friends turned out at the Concord Country Club on September 26th for the 2016 Kingman Cup. Blessed with a gorgeous, sun-soaked afternoon, both golfers and tennis players enjoyed each other’s company while also competing for the title of Kingman Cup Champions. Three groups of golfers were tied atop the leaderboard at eleven under par at the completion of the golf tournament. After tiebreakers were enacted, the group of John Howe ’76, Ben Howe P’14’17, Doug Ross, and Director of Advancement George Noble were crowned the 2016 champions. On the tennis courts, the dynamic duo of Meggie Patterson ’01 and former faculty member Nancy Herter P’97’99’02 took first place. Most importantly, good fun was had by all! With alumni spanning six decades and a large number of current and former parents, the 2016 Kingman Cup was a fantastic day, which celebrated the wonderful sense of community at Middlesex.
