Haiku Contest 2015

The annual Middlesex Haiku Contest is our way to welcome (or encourage the arrival of) the spring season.  This year, though the campus is still covered with feet of snow in March, we look forward to the time when we can sprawl out on the Circle in the warm spring sunshine.  Below are some of the Haiku Contest submissions:

This is Narnia
Before they stopped the winter
We’re waiting, Lucy!
– Cally ‘16

I’m the haiku God
Everything I write’s Fire
Check out my Soundcloud

Bundle up, it’s cold.
Look up, the skies are true blue.
What’s up? Spring’s comin’.
– Mme. Bolster

The endless winter
Swirling snow all around us
Why can’t it be spring

When the wind blows it
Feels like you are back around
But then there is rain
