Enriching Experiences

Let’s face it.  Private school is expensive.  For many families, the cumulative costs of tuition, boarding, technology and books surpass their means.  At Middlesex, we strive to make our education affordable to all qualified applicants, regardless of a family’s ability to finance such an investment.  Our financial aid programs help to ensure that our student body is diverse in interests, talents, race, ethnicity and economic background.  Here at Middlesex, the best and brightest “from across the world gather to pursue an education built upon a curriculum of outstanding breadth and depth.”

But there’s more.

There are many learning opportunities that enrich the Middlesex experience outside of the classroom.  These occur in our student-run clubs and on our athletic teams.  They occur on and off campus during weekend student activities, and on faculty-led international and athletic trips.  The Middlesex Alumni Association recognizes that there are students who simply cannot afford these “extras” and as such, a portion of the funds from the Spring Gala Auction and Benefit go directly to Financial Aid, so that deserving students are given the chance to participate in these experiences.  It is our hope that this year, we can broaden our impact with an additional contribution that will help to provide laptops to students in need.

You can help the Middlesex Alumni Association continue to provide an inclusive, enriching learning environment with your participation in our upcoming Spring Gala Benefit and Auction  on April 10th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.   Featuring a silent, super silent, and live auction, guests will have multiple opportunities to be the winning bidder!   Tickets are $200 each (tables of ten can be reserved for $2,000) and include sumptuous passed hors d’oeuvres, a delicious plated dinner, a decadent dessert buffet and a hosted bar, complete with signature cocktails.   Registration is available online, by mail, or by calling Director of Alumni Relations, John Morrissey (978-371-6523).
