Computer Science ExPRTs

Achieving their ExPRT (Experience in Problem-Solving, Reasoning, and Technology) certificates, Kelly ’17 and Kiara ’17 recently presented and demonstrated the final exam projects for their course, Advanced Topics in Computer Science: Web Applications. The course enables students to study advanced topics such as multimedia and web design and production, networking, algorithm design and analysis, theory of computation, programming languages, computer architecture, software development, app development for iOS or Android, databases, or operating systems.  Kelly and Kiara are both currently creating their own fully functional blog applications:

Kiara says of her experience in the course, “After a year of highs and lows, I’ve come out of the course with several fully functional websites, as well as an immense amount of new knowledge that I can use for future projects. I’m excited to take this final project further, potentially launching it live for all Middlesex students to use.”
