Amazing Auction Items!

The Spring Gala Benefit and Auction is just weeks away, and we are thrilled with the wide array of auction items.  The uniqueness and quality of the donated items are impressive, and reflect the commitment and connection that so many parents and alumni share with Middlesex.

The evening’s bidding opportunities are divided into three segments; a Silent Auction, a Super Silent Auction and of course the entertaining Live Auction.  New this year is our Super Silent category.  Items in this category have been pre-selected based on the anticipated level of competitive bidding.  It won’t be hard to find these items on the floor because there will be a bit of theater involved as Middlesex volunteers try to engage and entice parents and alumni bidders into action.  Highest bids for Super Silent items will be updated continuously and displayed for all to see.   The action continues as we move over to the Grand Ballroom for a delicious plated dinner, and some live bidding.  We can’t guarantee anything, but Ned and Nancy Herter may be planning another grand entrance!

The complete list of auction items can be found on the Gala page,
under the tab Auction Items.

Use the item list to plan your bids, perhaps combining purchasing power with fellow alumni, parents, family and friends!  In addition to viewing the items online, we would be happy to email you a catalog with the complete listing of auction items.  Contact: Judy  Omobono ([email protected])

Due to spring break, we’ve extended the registration.  If you haven’t had a chance to register for the Gala, please consider doing so now.   If you are unable to attend but see an item that you would really like to bid on, please get in touch with John Morrissey (see below) for a proxy bid sheet.

All proceeds from the Auction will help fund the many wonderful outreach efforts of the Middlesex Alumni Association. If you have any questions about the Gala, ticket purchases or table reservations, please contact Director of Alumni Relations, John Morrissey (978-371-6523, [email protected]).
