Alumni, Parents, and Friends Gather for Summer Events

Though school was out of session, there was still a fair bit of summer activity for the Alumni & Development Office. Seven receptions, spanning both coasts, brought together alumni, parents, and friends to enjoy some Middlesex camaraderie.

On July 9th, John Stevens ’86 and his wife Ing-Nan hosted a gathering for San Francisco area alumni and parents at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marin. Many MX grads jumped at the opportunity to get together with their fellow classmates and friends who are also on the West coast.

On July 23rd young alumni gathered at Tia’s in Boston for the Alumni Association-sponsored young alumni cocktail party. The East coast receptions continued on August 4th with a reception in Little Compton, RI, hosted by Keith Crudington and John McCole P’16’19. Later that week on August 6th, Ben and Janet Howe P’14’17 hosted a reception on Martha’s Vineyard. Despite the poor weather, Margot and Ted Mehm ’83 P’14’17 hosted an exciting night in Hyannisport, Cape Cod with many MX families in attendance.

Making our way out west, a small reception was held in Seattle on August 12th by hosts Alison and Adam Dreiblatt ’95.  As summer drew to a close we returned east to the island of Nantucket on a beautiful summer night that complimented the wonderful reception hosted by Bill and Prudence Crozier GP’17’19.

We greatly appreciate the generosity of all of our hosts and were so happy to see all the guests who joined us for some summer fun. We hope to see many more people at our upcoming events throughout the fall!
