Alumni Association Kicks Off the New Year with Career Panels

January is career panel month for the Middlesex Alumni Association and the annual Boston and New York panels drew strong crowds recently. Nearly 60 alumni turned out in Boston on January 5 at the Harvard Club to hear from Ike Williams ’56, Karen Darby Scott ’80 P’11’12’14’17, Bill Driscoll ’87 P’19, Eileen Berkery Tortora ’96, and Will Danoff P’17’19. The Boston panel was moderated by Alumni Association Board member Rob Trumbull ’00. Two nights later, over 50 alumni attended the New York event at the Princeton Club. Moderated by former Alumni Association President and current Middlesex Trustee Andy Pitts ’84, the New York panel featured Duane Jones ’70, Maggie McLean Suniewick ’93, Sophie Banay Moura ’99, and Charlie Maddock ’00.

Both events provided alumni with the opportunity to hear from professionals in a variety of fields. The panelists imparted helpful advice about getting one’s career started, as well as what it takes to establish a successful career. In addition to the formal panel, the events feature time for alumni to network with the panelists and one another.

The Middlesex Alumni Association is committed to helping alumni with career guidance. Please reach out to Director of Alumni Relations John Morrissey at [email protected] to learn more about available networking opportunities.
