2015 Thoreau Arts Exhibition

The final student exhibition of the year is the Visual Arts Thoreau Medal Exhibition.  Thoreau medals were awarded in four categories: photography, woodworking, sculpture & ceramics, and painting & drawing.  This year’s Visual Arts Thoreau Medal Exhibition Juror was Kate James, Executive Director of the Concord Art Association. James commented, “Having had the opportunity to work closely with the Middlesex faculty and staff during the C-art program, I saw how these students “dig deep”. The quality of all the students art work, especially in drawing, was excellent. The work was dynamic, engaging, funny, ironic, emotion filled and conceptually engaging.”
