Family Matters: Raising Healthy Children in Challenging Times

Robert Evans, Ed.D:  Raising Healthy Children in Challenging Times

Saturday, January 17th, 9:30am – 11am

Ware Hall (Barron Room)

The Middlesex Parents’ Association is pleased to host a very special speaker on Saturday, January 17th from 9:30-11:00am.   Robert Evans, Ed.D., noted author, clinical and organizational psychologist, and Director of the Human Relations Service in Wellesley, MA, will address MX parents and friends on Family Matters: Raising Healthy Children in Challenging Times.   As the pace of life accelerates, media influences intensify, and the future grows less predictable, parents find it harder to know how to raise children of character, caring, and competence, how to resist negative influences in the surrounding culture, how to help foster resilience.

Dr. Evans’ inspirational presentations are known for their lively wit and plain talk.  He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton and his doctorate from Harvard, and has served as a consultant to thousands of U.S. schools and around the world.
