William "Chip" Vigne

Chip is a graduate of Bowdoin College, where he earned a B.A. in history and government. He taught history for five years at Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York, and for three years at Berwick Academy in South Berwick, Maine. Before joining the Middlesex faculty in 1992, Chip was a history teacher and assistant director of athletics at Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts. He now serves as a sophomore class advisor. Both of his sons, Bill ’01 and Andrew ’04, are Middlesex graduates; his wife Annie teaches yoga to Middlesex students and faculty.
