• Volunteer opportunities

  • There are many ways you can contribute your time and energy to the school community, whether you live down the street or across the country. Please contact the head of the MPA, Phoebe Huang, [email protected], if you have any questions. Please identify volunteer opportunities that interest you by checking the boxes below.

For email contacts of the chairs for the events below, please see MPA Contacts.
Class activities – The MPA has recruited Class Reps for each grade. Please click here if you would like to assist the Class Reps as they organize student activities such as class dinners and ice cream socials as well as one parent gathering during the school year.
Halloween Spooktacular: This committee will provide the entire student body with a Halloween celebration. Volunteers are needed to help with food, help set up and/or clean up and work on the event.
Faculty and Staff Appreciation – This committee provides two appreciation luncheons each year (in December and June) for the Middlesex faculty, staff, and administration. Volunteers organize refreshments and gifts and help with decorations, set-up, and/or clean-up. Helping with Faculty and Staff Appreciation is a fun and easy way for non-local families to be involved.
Holiday Tea – Volunteers organize a reception after the Holiday Concert in early December.
Casino Night – Carla Lawton, Chair. volunteers will help decorate the dinner portion of the much loved casino night.
End of Year Slushies – MPA volunteers scoop slushies for students as a special treat offered one day during the spring final exam period.
Parents’ Weekend – Volunteers assist in coordinating MPA involvement in Parents’ Weekend activities in the fall. This volunteer job typically involves two mornings of work the week prior to the event.
Valentine's Day - Volunteers make treats and create goody bags for every student.
Volunteer to help the MPA as needed. Throughout the year, the administration asks the MPA to help with various events, such as helping to make flower arrangements for graduation.
  • Thank you for your support of the MPA!
