Three Cheers for Spring!

As we move into March – and away from winter – the MxAA Gala Benefit and Auction reminds us to “Think Spring”.  If spring itself isn’t compelling to you, we hope that our upcoming event at the Four Seasons Boston is!

From beginning to end, we’ve got a great night planned for all of our guests. The early part of the evening will be devoted to the Silent and Super Silent Auctions which will take place in Aujourd ‘hui – a bright room richly appointed with wooden columns and built in wine cases. Once inside, you will be fortified with a combination of delectable hors d’oeuvres, gourmet food stations and refreshing signature cocktails while you move about  in the hopes that you are able to ink the last, best bid on any number of special items.

As the Silent Auction portion of the evening concludes, guests will transition into the beautiful ballroom with its trademark floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Public Gardens. Once seated, guests will be welcomed by Head of School Kathy Giles P’06’09’11. The dynamic of the evening quickly changes as faculty member Ned Herter ’73 P’97’99’02 uses his legendary coaching skills to energize the crowd with his own unique flair.

Following Ned’s lead, auctioneer Paul Zekos takes the stage, friendly competition ensues, and everyone ends up a winner! Four Seasons’ white-glove service is apparent as a delicious plated dinner is served complete with special wines, and an elegant dessert buffet. We are confident that your attendance for this evening will be a memorable one.

“The Gala is a great celebration of all things Middlesex! It is a beautiful event that brings together faculty, alumni, and parents in a lively and fun atmosphere. It is a special night not to be missed!”
