Strengthening the Ties That Bind

About ten years ago, a small number of alumni organized themselves into a group whose mission would be to “strengthen the existing ties between alumni and the School”.  Since then, the Middlesex Alumni Association Board of Directors has successfully pioneered a wide range of initiatives designed to promote personal relationships, expand career opportunities, and provide a network of support for all Middlesex alumni.    MxAA President Hunter Moorman ’60 shares his thoughts on the value of the program:

“Service on the MxAA is a wonderful way for me to express my gratitude to and admiration for Middlesex, and the relationships with other alumni and School staff are fun and satisfying.  The Association is a strong complement to the School’s efforts to knit alumni together, renew and strengthen their bonds with the School.  The MxAA has developed a varied and effective mix of programs and services for alums and even today’s students.  Internships, Career Panels, targeted donations to students in need, holiday parties, golf outings, fun runs, news items, and the designation of the Henry Cabot Lodge Distinguished Alumni Award help knit alumni together, renew and strengthen their bonds with the School, and give current students and alums a hand at key points in their lives”

The success of  this year’s Spring Gala Benefit and Auction will provide the MxAA with the funds needed to continue these valuable outreach programs.  ALL proceeds from the auction support the efforts of the MxAA, and a successful auction will allow us to increase our impact within the Middlesex community.

Please consider supporting this wonderful event with your attendance, your donations or your purchases.  Tickets are $200; tables of 10 can be reserved for $2,000.  For more information or to inquire about donating an item, please contact Director of Alumni Relations John Morrissey (978-371-6523 or [email protected]).  We hope to see you soon!
