MX Artists Collaborate on Perception and Identity

Middlesex students joined a group of over 50 artists, including students from Concord-Carlisle High School and Concord Academy, at the Concord Art Association this past Sunday to create a work of art exploring “perception and identity.”

Each artist was given a prepared board and was asked to draw/paint, sculpt, photograph, etc. another artist with whom they were paired. The final installation of the individual pieces will be determined by a group of students from each of the three schools participating in a curatorial seminar at the Concord Art Association. The piece will be included in the upcoming show, “Look Me in the Eye: Identity and Perception in the Screen Age”, opening at the Concord Art Association on April 9.
