On Saturday, September 17th we were delighted to welcome twelve students and a coach from SquashBusters of Boston to the Middlesex campus. They were greeted by and had lunch with equity and inclusion officers. Afterwards, members of the boys’ and girls’ squash teams at Middlesex ran a squash clinic with the assistance of Dr. Munro and Mr. Hirsch. It was a day full of laughter and joy and lots of great squash. The mission of SquashBusters is “to challenge and nurture urban youth – as students, athletes and citizens – so that they recognize and fulfill their fullest potential in life.” Remembering the public purpose of private institutions, we hope that we can aid them in their mission as we continue to partner with SquashBusters!
