Lueck ’10 Honored by Columbia

Meaghan Lueck ’10, a fixture in the art studios while she was a student at Middlesex, was just awarded the Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts from Columbia College.  The prize is “awarded annually to a senior who, in the opinion of the Faculty, has demonstrated excellence of the highest standards of proficiency in performance or execution or in the field of composition in one of the following general areas of performing and creative arts: music, theatre, painting, sculpture, design, architecture, or film.” Meag was selected for her visual arts thesis, a body of artwork named after a character, Coco, which deals with themes of memory, loss, renewal, and growth through painting, sculpture and various multimedia. After graduation, Meag plans to pursue graphics and design.

Congratulations, Meag!
