The calendar said late September, but the weather was sultry and summer-like for the 2017 Kingman Cup at the Concord Country Club on September 25. A spirited group of over 75 alumni, parents, faculty, and friends of Middlesex came together to enjoy and afternoon of golf and tennis while honoring the memory of Brad Kingman, who served the School for 39 years from 1960-1999.
Following play, participants gathered on the patio to enjoy the warm weather and each other’s company. A silent auction was held to help raise money for the Bradford S. Kingman Fund for faculty support at Middlesex. Brad’s widow Chris, herself a long-time coach and member of the Athletic Department staff, was there to spend time with many of Brad’s former students and players who attended.
