Garrett O'Toole '14 has achieved the remarkable feat of being the top high school runner in the country over 1500 meters. On Friday, May 2nd, he competed against collegiate runners at Princeton University and blazed across the line in 3:45.55. A personal best for Garrett, the time would convert to a 4:02 1600 meter or 4:03-4:04 mile, national leading times. After achieving third in the New Balance Nationals Indoor mile in March, 7th at the Arcadia Invitational in the 3200m, and a lifetime best of 4:12 in the mile from last year's adidas Dream Mile, O'Toole held his own against the college runners to finish 3rd overall at the Princeton Elite Meet in New Jersey.
