Middlesex School presents Place Value, an art exhibition organized by Meg Alexander, resident of Clay House and wife of John Hirsch, Head of the English Department. The exhibit features the work of five artists who have found inspiration through a relationship to a particular place or places. Artists included are: Meg Alexander, Beth Galston, Pat Shannon, Nancy Murphy Spicer, and Maggie Stark. The show will be in the Cornelius Ayer Wood Gallery from April 1 through May 4, 2014. Please join us for an opening reception and talk on April 1st at 6:30 PM in the gallery.
The Boston Globe recently reviewed Place Value, calling it "wonderfully crisp and grounded in detail, yet often ethereal."
