Robotics Team Competes in Tournament

Middlesex School
On Saturday, February 16th, five members of the Robotics Club attended their first VEX Robotics Tournament held at Pembroke Academy in Pembroke, NH.  The team did very well, winning a solid third of their matches and being cited by the event judges for their design creativity and good sportsmanship.
For the past 4 months, the Robotics Team, led by Arvind Balasundaram '13 and Miranda Kotidis '13, has been designing, building, programming and, when necessary, troubleshooting the device we have affectionately come to know as “Clawbot”. Team members Khoa Phan '16, Tae Hyun Yoon '16 and Yuqing Zhu '16 actively trained as drivers and spotters and team member Camden Blatchly '15, who could not make the event due to a prior commitment, did a bang-up job programming our beloved Clawbot so that it wouldn’t, well, get banged up.
