We are incredibly proud and delighted to invite you for a special, combined celebration of Alumni Weekend 2017 and the successful completion of MX2: The Campaign for Middlesex. Please set aside June 9th and 10th to join alumni, parents, and friends for exciting events that you don’t want to miss!
Friday night will kick off this momentous weekend with a bang! Gather with fellow guests on the lawn outside of the huge Celebration Tent; enjoy Island Creek Oyster’s “cool” raw bar, Woodman’s classic New England clambake, signature cocktails, and live music featuring Boston-based band, the McMurphys – think Jimmy Buffett meets Zac Brown! This energizing evening will leave you looking forward to the next day!
After warming up with some traditional Alumni Weekend activities early Saturday morning, Head of School Kathy Giles will address the community, highlighting the School’s evolving growth thanks to the support of MX2. Midday, head over to the Celebration Tent to continue connecting with friends and faculty during lunch. The remaining afternoon will be filled with dynamic alumni performances, art exhibits, and the dedication of the brand-new Rachel Carson Music and Campus Center. As the festivities draw to a close*, you are welcome to enjoy some refreshments, lawn games, and a relaxing outdoor Concert on the Circle.
* If you are in a reunion class, you are invited to join classmates for a special Saturday night class reception. Please visit Reunion Class Info for a list of Reunion Committee Members, and any additional details about your class reunion.
There is a $50 flat fee to attend any or all of the activities taking place over this busy weekend. There are no charges however, for any guests ages 12 and under. Online registration will be available in April.
Travel and Accommodations
While many of our alumni, parents and friends can make the trip back to Concord by car, a significant number of you are spread out across the country and around the world. We consider ourselves fortunate to be located so close to a travel hub such as Boston. Whatever your mode of transportation we’ve got the directions that will help you to get you back to campus.
Overnight accommodations are plentiful in and around the Concord area, but it’s always best to plan ahead. If you will be staying overnight, you may want to contact one of the many area hotels & inns. As a further consideration, many visitors to Middlesex opt to stay in one of the Boston area hotels so that they can take advantage of the wide variety of activities and events offered throughout the city.
The best way for us to stay connected with you is to know where you are!
If you are a graduate of Middlesex, please take a moment to download our MX Alumni App designed to allow you to network exclusively with Middlesex alums right from the palm of your hand. If you want to make sure that we have your most up to date contact information, but you are not a graduate or don’t want to download the app please contact Database Manager, Mike Voute at 978-371-6514 or email@example.com
