Having previously served as a Middlesex trustee from 1992 to 1995, Curt rejoined the Board in 2010 for another term. After a long and successful career in sports marketing and management with International Management Group (IMG), Curt now divides his time among several interests, including serving as the president/CEO of The International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame and as a trustee of The Boys’ Club of New York. He is also still active as a founding member of the Board of Advisors to the National Sports Marketing Network (the industry’s trade association).

After graduating from Middlesex (the alma mater of his father, James F. Curtis, Jr. ’34, and his uncle, Frazier Curtis ’36), Curt attended Boston University (playing on the only undefeated freshman hockey team in BU’s history) and served in the U.S. Marine Corps before becoming the youngest-ever active member of the New York Stock Exchange. During his Wall Street career, he took up skydiving and became the president/chairman of the Board of the U.S. Parachute Association. A member of several U.S. parachute teams, he was a member of the 1977 squad that won the World Championships in Gatton, Queensland, Australia, and was inducted into the Skydiving Hall of Fame in 2013. In 2011, Curt was inducted into the Middlesex Athletic Hall of Fame and is a past chairman of its nominating committee.
