A graduate of Brown University with a B.A. and M.A. in comparative third world development, Abby began her career in publishing at Caribbean Travel and Life magazine. She then joined Time Inc. Ventures, where she worked on the marketing of new magazine launches, including Vibe, Martha Stewart Living, and This Old House. Concurrently, she earned her M.B.A. at Columbia University. Moving into the world of digital media, Abby began working for TheStreet.com, becoming senior vice president and general manager of consumer markets. Abby is currently a member of 37 Angels, a NYC-based angel investing network, and serves as the co-chair of the steering committee for CARE’s Women’s Initiative in New York. She serves on the Board of Brown/RISD Hillel, Yamba Malawi, and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
