Affording a Middlesex Education
A Middlesex education is both a tremendous opportunity and a deep investment in your child’s future. Middlesex strives to make our education affordable to all qualified applicants, regardless of a family’s ability to finance such an investment without assistance. Tuition for 2011-12 is $48,390 for boarding and $38,710 for day.
Middlesex offers financial grants to families based on their demonstrated financial need. In the 2011-12 year, Middlesex offered over $4.1 million dollars in aid to 30% of our student body, with an average grant of $37,000. The School is committed to socioeconomic diversity and offers awards of financial aid to families with a wide range of incomes; there is no income cut-off for financial aid eligibility. Each family’s particular financial circumstances—including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, family size, and number of students attending private schools or college—are carefully weighed .
We encourage all applicants to consider Middlesex, regardless of whether they think they can afford the full tuition. We do our best to admit and fund a wide variety of students from a diversity of backgrounds. Although priority is given to US Citizens, each year we do provide financial aid to a small number of International students.
